Ingredients for roti :-
American
flour-250g
1cup of water
Salt
Grated coconut-100g
Method for roti:-
1) Mix all the ingredients
together by adding water little by little. Knead the dough until it becomes soft
ball. The dough should not be sticky. To avoid this from happening you should
add water little by little. In that you can come to know when to stop adding more water.
2) Using a rolling pin roll
the ball in to medium size circles.
3) Finally roast them in a
pan both the sides to crispy texture.
Ingredients for spicy
onion
:-
2 big red onions
5 Whole red chilli
Salt to taste
Lemon-2 tea spoons
Method for spicy onion
(Lunumiris):-
1) Soak whole chili in the
water for 10 minutes.
2) Now put it in the
grinder alone with other ingredients that i have mentioned in the recipe except
lemon.
3) Grind all the
ingredients in to a coarse paste for 30 seconds.
4) Finally take out the
mixture & add lemon & taste with roti. This goes well with
rice cake (Kiribath) too.
